Letters of Reference, Support, or Recommendation

Anyone wishing to request a letter of support, recommendation, or merely seeking to use us as a reference, needs to email us at the above email address, submit the contact form to the left, or come to a board meeting and make the request during the "Open Forum" portion of the meeting.

Please note: Individual board members of Trans-E-Motion are no longer able to offer letters of support/recommendation or to serve as a reference on behalf of their affiliation with Trans-E-Motion. All such letters and service as reference are to be requested from Trans-E-Motion as a collective board.

Anonymous Feedback

This form is for the submission of anonymous feedback to the board of Trans-E-Motion, which may include any of the following:

  • expressions of gratitude
  • constructive feedback
  • formal complaints

Our organization is comprised of a small number of unpaid volunteers. We work very hard, sometimes too hard. All feedback, be it positive, negative, or merely constructive, is greatly appreciated and will be shared with the board. Your contact info will not be shared.

 

Feedback Guidelines:

  • Please keep your language respectful, courteous, and polite.
  • Avoid any expressions of LGBTQ-phobia, racism, sizeism, ableism, ageism, anti-semitism, or any other form of harmful bias.
  • Please be as specific as possible.

Any submission that does not adhere to these guidelines may be discarded without being presented to the board. Any aggression, threats of violence, or allusions to premeditated criminal behavior will be immediately reported to law enforcement.

 

Formal Complaints:

While mistakes do happen, we here at Trans-E-Motion are committed to learning from them and improving ourselves both individually and collectively as an organization so that we can better serve our community. In the case of a formal complaint, once the complaint is submitted, if it is in compliance with the "Feedback Guidelines" (above) the due process is as follows:

  1. The complaint will be shared with the board at the next regularly scheduled board meeting.
  2. The board will discuss the concern(s) raised and vote on any subsequent action the board deems necessary to properly resolve the concern.
  3. If you provided an email, you will receive a summarized resolution notice (usually within 7 weeks of submitting the complaint).
