Therapist Letters

Most medical practitioners require 1-2 letters from a licensed therapist that demonstrates support for a person's gender transition before allowing that person to receive hormones or undergo a surgical procedure to affirm their gender. These therapist letters must meet the WPATH guidelines of care, and most therapists require a number of therapy sessions and/or monetary compensation before they will write them. Thanks to two local, affirming therapists, we are able to arrange for trans persons in California to receive up to two letters for free upon the completion of a free virtual counseling session.
